| Festive holly berries and leaves are painted on the lid of this Victorian porcelain case. Top and bottom are complemented with multi-toned brown calico pattern. A perfect safe place to hide or tote your special coins or small treasures. Makes a great holiday or any-time gift, or give one for your special December birthday friend.
Lid is hinged in back and clasped in front with a decorative brass rosette. Classic brass designs rim the lid and base where they adjoin. Try using it as a gift box for your sweetie's special-occasion ring or other valuable trinkets. Round case measures 1 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Note: The porcelain box containing the 1948 coin has an ever-so-slight crack on the top inside where the base and lid adjoin. It does not appear to weaken the porcelain box at all. This item's price is the same because the 1948 coin inside is more collectible due to the removal of "IMP" from this coin after 1948 following India's independence from the British in 1949.
