Large Gambler's Poker Set. It is rare to find such a large set of chips. I bet it has seen some HIGH STAKES GAMES. These are vintage clay poker chips that are in a fine solid rosewood rack in a traveling case. It has slots for four decks of cards as well as the chips. The case has a push-button brass locking mechanism that works and three brass hinges on the rear. The outside of the case is covered with black leather that show the wear and tear of traveling, but it did protect the rack and chips as it was meant too. The case is lined with green oil cloth and is in very good condition.

The overall case is 14 in. long by 6 3/4 in. wide by 5 1/4 in. deep. There are 16 tubes for the chips. There are a total of about 400 chips that are 1.5 in. in diameter with no markings. There are 175 ivory colored, 100 blue colored, and 125 red colored. They are not chipped or cracked.

It is a real nice set. The case shows some old scratches but not bad for its age. The cards are not included.
