| This is a Colorado Saddlery double holster rig, Heiser type quality but at a lower price. In fact, Colorado Saddlery was started in 1945 by 4 former Heiser employees. Colorado Saddlery made most of the holsters for Abercrombie & Fitch & their subsidiaries VL&A & VL&D This belt and holsters set were obviously made for a pair of .41 Caliber first generation Colt Single Action Armies with 4 3/4 inch barrels. The fully basket weave stamped belt is marked with the style number 1867, the caliber number 41 and the waist size number 36. The tightest belt hole measures 36 inches and the longest one measures 40 inches. The matching basket weave holsters are marked COLORADO SADDLERY DENVER with the holster style number 1832. This vintage gun rig is remarkably good condition with one flaw. The belt loops have several cracks and one is completely broken through, other wise it would give a century of use. As you can see it does hold these .38 long Colt cartridges well, but might need replacing someday. (We can provide that service if you like.) My Colt revolvers and .38LC cartridges are not included.
