For the past 15 years Jim has held a "Trade Session" for the members of a Historical club called "The Hole in the Sock Gang" and their like minded friends. The original purpose of which help the newer members or green horns to get outfitted right with out having to mortgage the farm just to pay for the gear. And a place for the ol'timers to pass along some of the Items and bits of wisdom they have accumulated over the years and maybe even acquire some new ones.

Well, What it really turned out to be is far more
spectacular
It became a true social event.
a place where history enthusiast of many types
( such as Cowboy Reenactors, Old West Collectors, Cowboy Action Shooters , Gun Dealers, Artists, Antique Dealers, Shoot Out Groups, Civil War Reenactors, Trail Riders, School Teachers, Buck Skinners,Wagon Drivers, Rodeo Cowboys, Musicians, Ect.)
{ Just to name a few }
could meet on neutral ground and exchange Information, Knowledge, Camaraderie
and a whole lot of NEAT STUFF

In those early years this event was strictly by invitation and became so popular that in order to continue to hold the event in it's past location Jim was going to have to limit the number of folks invited.

Well, That wouldn't be The Cowboy Way
so several years ago Jim moved the Event up the road to the Scenic Ridge Barn/Dance Hall
and flung the doors open wide so all were welcome.

And that's when the

Real Magic began.
