U.S.A". The left side of the frame is marked "44". The serial number is under the left grip. Barrel Length: 5 5/8" Sights : The gun is mounted with original sights; a fixed blade front sight and a top-strap-integral rear sight. Stock Configuration & Condition: The Grips are 2 piece smooth rose wood. The grips are very good, with no splits or cracks. The stocks show appropriate aging. The stocks rate about fine overall condition. Type of Finish: Nickel Finish Originality: Professionally Re-nickeled. Bore Condition: The bore is clean with strong rifling. There is very moderate erosion throughout the entire length. Overall Condition: This gun retains about 90% of its metal finish. Overall, this gun rates in about very good as refinished condition.
