Mens Victorian and Western Trousers

Our trousers are typical of those worn from the 1860's through the turn of the century. Men's styles did not change much in the way of pants during this time. Two front pockets are the western style made to keep things in the pocket while you're a'horse. The right hand back pocket has a button closing. They have a back strap with a buckle to aid in a perfect fit. There are suspender buttons on the waistback and a 5 button fly.

We faithfully patterned these trousers after originals in the River Junction collection nearly thirty years ago and they quickly became the favorite of "Old West" or "Victorian" era reenactors. Back then a customer would describe a material, pattern or an overall "look" that they wanted. If we didn't have what he asked for in stock we would select an appropriate fabric and make the trouser for him. That was the Old Way. Now - WE STILL DO THINGS THE OLD WAY. It is the only way to provide the endless variety necessary for any serious reenactor to portray an entire era of mens fashions.

Commonly available in solids, stripes, herringbones or denims. Other materials such as Corduroy are occasionally available. Not all colors will be available in all patterns.
