C.G. Bonehill Double Hammer 12 ga. shotgun.
- 2 3/4 chamber - Production 1880
This double barrel hammer gun closes tight and would be great reenactor gun for commercial blank loads as we offer in our blank dept. It has 30" long plumb brown barrels with ejectors & has a 3/8" wide rib in the center. The overall length of the gun is 46 1/2" with a stock that is 16" long. It has a 7" long forearm. Forearm has the little horn piece that is in the end of the forearm missing. See photo. It has faded checkering on the forearm & the stock. The frame is totally brown & this gun has all the original parts & screws. The bores have some pits. It has a hard rubber butt plate. There are an assortment of dings on the wood and some cracks but not weak or loose. Stamped on barrel is "C. G. Bonehill Maker Birmingham". Very intricate scroll work on most metal parts. The hammers appear to be a miss match pair but function well.
