Original
large frame Holster 1890 to1920. Civilian holster from the Old West era
and the Roaring 20s. This classic holster with a roller pattern around
all boarders. It is a Mexican double loop style. Made of russet colored
leather. This holster could be worn as right hand draw or cross draw.
You can notice that the top of the skirt is designed with an upward
slant to be used as a cross draw. It fits a Colt New Service, Big frame
Smith & Wesson's, Merwin & Hulbert and the Big Belgium Smith
copies, as well as the Colt 1873, Colt Bisley, the 1875 & 90
Remingtons, with up to a 6 1/2 inch barrel perfectly. The leather is
soft and flexable. You could display your original vintage "BIG" frame
revolver and you could just use it to carry it. The stitches are strong
and intact. The type of holster you would find at the hardware store.
This holster is in very good condition no breaks or tears. It has been
sitting in a drawer for many, many years. A nice vintage holster for
your vintage six gun.
