z Sold ~ Old Hotel Counter Bell

Hotel Counter Bell ~ These could also be found in upscale parlor houses in the 1880s through the 1920s. About 3 3/4 in. at the base and 3 in. tall. The base is cast iron and the bell is pressed heavy tin with most all of its original nickel plating worn off.  The sound of this functional antiquity is loud enough for a hotel clerk to hear it from a few rooms away.
