Colt 45 SAA 3RD GEN Ser.#S08856A. This revolver is an original Colt 45 and has a 5 1/2 in. barrel. It has a very smooth action job for cowboy shooting. The frame has a case-hardened finish and the barrel, trigger guard and grip frame are blue finish. The bore is excellent. Hard rubber grips are excellent with Federal Eagle. Condition is NRA Excellent. Third generation ~ used one season for Cowboy Action Shooting, probably 400-500 rounds fired through it. Overall finish is 99% original blue and color case harden. Bore is like a mirror, 4 distinct clicks and tight action.
