Action Type: Double Action Revolver Markings: The top of the barrel is marked "Colt's PT F.A. MFG Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A". The butt is marked with the serial number. The rear face of the cylinder has a "Z and an H" and "132" to match the frame. Left side of trigger guard is marked 45 cal Sights: The gun is mounted with original sights; a fixed blade front sight and a top-strap-integral rear sight. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered hard rubber grips with rampant horse logos. The grips are exceptionally good, with checkering and slight surface marks, but no splits or cracks. The stocks show appropriate aging. The stocks rate about fine overall condition. Type of Finish: nickel Finish Originality: Professionally Restored Bore Condition: The bore is bright. I rate it 9. Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There is very slight edge wear and handling wear to the restored finish. Of particular note is the quality of the work done. We doubted this being a refinish until closely inspecting the bore. There is slight pitting visible under the finish and slight tooling marks can be seen. This is one of the best restorations we have seen. The Screw heads are good. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about excellent as refinished condition. Mechanics: The action functions well and locks up without any movement after the trigger is pulled.
