This is a TRUE Colt Second Generation Baby Dragoon, Black Powder. This is not the Signature Series. This gun has the continuation of serial numbers from the First Generation Guns. 31 Cal, Serial #17576. These are very hard to find. The Baby Dragoon is quite rare and very desirable. This gun is new and never used, carried, or fired. The "F" Series Colt Baby Dragoon was built from 1981-1982 with only 1,352 having been manufactured. The revolvers came with a 4 inch octagon barrel without a loading lever, five shot cylinder with roll engraved Texas Ranger and Indian scene, one piece walnut grips, "F" Series Colt blue finish on the barrel and cylinder, color case-hardening on the frame and hammer, and silver plated brass backstrap and trigger guard. This colt is new and unfired, but has been turned. The gun comes with its original black box, with storage wear/handling marks, and all paper-work. A rare Colt model percussion revolver.
