Perfect mechanics with excellent timing, and ejection with tight lock-up and no play in barrel/frame lock. Retains 80% original factory nickel with spots of flaking and some pitting. Sharp markings. Grips are perfect with no wear or damage and with sharp checkering. An all original antique S&W 1 1/2 in very good condition, a nice collectible! A 5 shot single action revolver, with spur trigger, bird's head hard rubber grip manufactured from 1878 - 1892 barrel with patent dates: Jan 17 and 24, 1865, July 11, 1865, Aug 24, 1869, Feb 20, 1877; reissue July 25, 1871 and near the top latch, April 20, 75 right and Dec. 18. 1877 left.
