Colt 3rd Model (Thuer) Derringer .41 R.F. The barrel has dents on top and bore shows pitting, but has rifling present. The gun functions just fine and is all correct and was manufactured around 1886. The gun has not been cleaned or touched since it was found. Marked "Colt" on the top of the barrel and ".41cal."(meaning .41 rimfire) on the frame. Unusual to see the frame showing 90% original nickle remaining. Grips have no chips or cracks and has most original varnish still remaining.
