BANKS were specifically designed to attract a young child's interest. The toy bank grew very popular between the years of 1870 - 1930. These still banks are the real McCoy, with correct body seam, and normal wear on the high parts of the details, and the straight slotted screw.
Prancing Horse Still Bank - ca. 1912. Measures 4 7/8 Long x 4 1/4 High. Made by A. C. Williams. Original paint.
Lion Bank - Measures 6 3/4" Long from nose to tail, and 5 1/8" High, and about 2 1/8" Wide across the shoulders. Original yellow paint! Circa 1900 by A. C. Williams with original paint, original attachment screw. The largest of the "king of the jungle" banks.
Elephant Bank - Still Bank Authentic. Standing elephant with howdah. About 4 1/4" Long, and about 3 1/2" High.
Elk Bank - Nicest, smooth patina that you could ever want to feel. Measures about 5 Long by 7 High.
There are ~ no breaks ~ no chips ~ no cracks ~ in the cast on any of these banks.
