This antique Victorian real leather and wood child's tiger pull toy is an incredible piece of art, and all the more amazing because it has survived for over the years! It is hand painted and handmade, and has bone carved teeth, as well as the original cast iron wheels on the solid wood platform. The original whiskers are all missing, but you can see where they were stuck into the nose of this big cat. There seems to be an old shellac finish overall for protection. A fantastic piece of toy history. This measure 18 inches long and 13 inches tall at the shoulders. This piece would be good for display of toys or for photographing children in Victorian clothing or my favorite displaying with your faro equipment as in "BUCKING THE TIGER." This is in excellent condition.
