Colt Model 1862 Pocket - Breech-loading cartridge revolver - (aka Ïcartridge conversion) - .38 rimfire; 3.5inch round barrel. - Condition is very good. - Grip frame shows great mustard yellow patina throughout, with even gray/brown patina on barrel, cylinder & frame. Cylinder shows strong cylinder scene throughout. The top of the barrel is clearly marked " COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.  Other markings excellent including matching serial numbers. Mechanically perfect, very crisp and locks up tight. Good grips with just a few nail marks from hammering up wanted posters & 80% varnish remaining. - s/n 3560. The bore has strong rifling.
