The American Double Action in .38 centerfire double action only revolver, 2.5" octagonal barrel, 5-shot fluted cylinder (850,000 made between 1883 and 1940) That means 57 years of production. If you divide 57 into 850,000 that is over 14912 a year. This one could easily be first year of production. That said it looks like it was made yesterday. 99%+ nickel finish with perfect grips.
