Hermann H. Heiser model #1710 Cheyenne Double Loop Side Holster in very good original condition showing minor signs of wear. This holster is made from floral tooled oak tanned California skirting leather with a hand wrapped lace welt and Heiser Denver Trademark brass snap cover. As noted in H. H. Heiser Catalogs, the model #1710 Cheyenne Double Loop Side Holster is the same as the #710 Double Loop Side Holster with the following additions: PLUG IN BOTTOM, THONG WRAP STITCHED, SAFETY STRAP and LEG THONG(leg thong is missing). It is made to carry a Colt Single Action Model Revolver with a 4 3/4 inch barrel length for a right hand shooter. It has been so marked on the back. This beautiful #1710 Cheyenne Double Loop Side Holster is properly marked with the Heiser Denver Trademark Oval makers mark which dates this holster from 1930 through 1955.The outstanding feature is the rare brass spots and that makes it the top of the line as far as collectable Heiser holster go. The matching Heiser belt is properly marked with the Heiser logo, but also marked with the Abercorobie and Fitch Logo as well. The belt has a California buckle and measures 36 inches to the center hole and is so marked. Some times I clean up my antique holsters, but this one had such great patina I thought I would leave it. It is ready to use or display just as it is. The Colt revolver is not included.
