Six shot revolver, pin-fire, E Lefaucheux Brevete. (Belgium Copy) The French revolver was well advanced beyond any of the American made revolvers of that period. This revolver is six shooter, a flap with a spring opens to allow quick and easy loading. The ejector pin is missing. The trigger is the fold down type. The butt of the grip has a swivel ring on the bottom with an old leather loop likely used to fasten to a suspender button or strap to hide this tiny revolver in the pants but still allow quick access. An ideal gamblers hide out gun. Weapon is marked only with Belgium proof marks . The revolver is fitted with smooth two piece walnut grip. The round barrel is 3 1/2 inch long and chambered for 7 mm. (.30 Caliber)
