Description

Not much is known about the gentleman who made this holster. He served in the Marine Corps during WWII and in his later years made his living, at least in part, as a leather worker. All we seem to remember about Mr. Myers is that he was very talented and very cantankerous. This Threepersons rig was made from, I'm told, his standard grade shoe leather. If this job was his "standard grade" I can only imagine that his "deluxe" work must have been fine indeed. Miles shot me an image of the trademark stamp he put on it in the photo below.A very nice heavy thick leather holster, that is stamped with with MYERS MADE 31 6 on the back, Top to bottom is about 10 inches, opening across the top is about 3-1/4 inches. Made to carry on the right side. It is lightly used but in near mint condition. I think it holds something like a 357 or other large with a 6 inch or so barrel, maybe a little longer and probably other similar handguns. Buyer to pay shipping of 7.95, it's nice, can't tell you what all it fits, looks like a large size revolvers etc. Checks along with paypal are welcome, thanks for looking. This is a well made gun belt with holster for a left-handed person. It's marked on the backside of the belt MYERS MADE 40 32 L (just above the holster in 4th photo) and MYERS MADE 40 54 L on the back of the holster (also in 4th photo). It's heavy leather and is missing the elastic that weaves through the slits to hold the bullets (6th photo) and the tie down strap at the bottom of the holster that ties to your leg (note the holes in the leather at the bottom of the holster). The belt buckle has some areas where the finish is worn off, and there's a few scuffs on the leather in different places. I measured the belt with it buckled in the middle hole, and it was 32". There are 5 holes, so I would say this would adjust from 30" to 34". The belt measures about 3" wide. My Uncle was a target shooter, not a hunter, so this hasn't been used in some years. He had a Ruger 22, so this should fit that type of pistol. Not sure what else would fit. Just look the pictures over and ask any questions. Thanks for looking.
