Empire State Arms Co. .38 S&W center fire caliber, 5 shot double action hammerless revolver, top break. Manufactured by Andrew Fyrberg & Sons firearms manufacturing  in New York. In 1903 Sears Roebuck purchased the Andrew Fryberg & Sons firearms manufacturing plant and moved the plant and machinery to Meriden, Connecticut.   This nice little revolver is fit will mother of pearl grips and has 99% original nickle remaining. The rifling is bright and strong. It is mechanically perfect in double action. Serial number 44673. I especially like the sleek shape of the hammer shroud.

These revolvers were carried in the Old West.
