These solid cast replica pistols were advertised in the back of magazines in the 1950's. Mold apparently made from a real pistols and revolvers. Realistic look and heft. Lytle Mfg. Solid Cast Aluminum Gun Models: These were made supposedly for Police and military training. Later they were sold through ads in magazines like Sports Afield.

There were supposedly
16 different models in all by 1958 when they ceased production.

The last price was $3.95 ppd to your door. Now they have become collectable like any vintage gun related item. I have search the internet high and low and  believe I have Identified 14 different models, so that means there are 2 models which must be very rare and hard to find. I think this S&W American is one of the 2. That's why I have priced it at $330.00. If you have the others this is the one you need to complete your collection. I am however willing to talk and maybe even trade.
