z Sold ~ 1st Generation Colt Single Action .45 Long Colt

 This is a Pre-War (aka First Generation) Colt Single Action Army Revolver with the desirable 4 3/4 inch barrel in .45 Long Colt caliber.  Serial number is 231530, manufactured in 1902 .  Overall condition is very good smooth.  Metal mostly gray with a little blue in protected areas.

Shoots very well.  Bore has minor pitting, rifling is strong ,lands and grooves are sharp.  The grips have no chips or cracks.  The action is crisp and mechanically perfect and tight.   This gun has seen use but was well cared for. Screw are all clean and original. 

This 112 year old gun has aged gracefully.  Most metal is antique grey patina smooth and clean.  Correct 2-line bbl address.  Very nice and readable as are all the markings.  Well-preserved firearm.
