Metropolitan 19th century policeman's hideout gun.The gun is as new and functions perfectly. It is copied after an original 1860 Army conversion I saw many years ago. That one supposedly belonged to a Minneapolis policeman and the owner had the officers heavy winter coat that he wore and it had a leather lined breast pocket he carried it in. The owner said the the officer used it more as a knuckle duster than a gun. The original of coarse was a 6 shot .44 colt. This on is a 5 shot .45 long colt. The barrel, grip and hammer have all been bobbed. I have not fired it but I suspect it would be a handful. This of coarse is a modern firearm and must be ship to an FFL dealer.
