Blue condition is fading with no rust or pitting, but showing some patina. Magazine is original with lanyard loop. Colt 1911 U.S. Army .45acp military automatic pistol with very good original diamond-checkered walnut stocks. With “JMG” inspectors mark. All original components, no modifications. Bore shows strong crisp rifling and is shinny bright throughout!

Removing the US Property stamp was common with early military firearms. Before the government declared them "obsolete" it was illegal to own a US Property marked firearm. It is nice to have this example with all original marks. The Doug Fowler holster is included.
