This 1860 Army was manufactured by Armi San Marco Gadone VT and  made in Italy and it is marked as such on the underside of the barrel. However On the top of the barrel it is marked
"-ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA-"
The cylinder show some pitting  in an area about the size of a nickel and more pitting around the wedge area.  The bore is BRIGHT AND SHINY. The action is positive and it locks up tight.  This gun is serial number (48288). This is the CIVILIAN MODEL. The  frame, hammer, and loading leaver are color case hardened and fading slightly.
