Reproduction of the Springfield 1873 Trapdoor Officers Model. Caliber .45-70 government. Serial # 2223. Barrel is blued. Receiver, hammer, butt plate, rear tang sight, barrel band and trigger guard are all color case hardened. 26" barrel. Light engraving on barrel band receiver , lock plate, breech block, hammer and trigger guard. Wooden ramrod. Stock is checkered at the wrist and on the forearm. No box.
