z Sold A 19th Century Mexican Dagger with Boot Pommel

An interesting 19th century Mexican dagger with long, slender spear-point double-edged blade with the devil engraved on one side and a Skull and cross bones on the other. Horn grip in five sections, the pommel carved in the form of a cowboy boot and capped with a copper heel. Overall a fine relic of the American/Mexican Southwest. Fine condition; the blade mottled with light scattered pitting, the extreme tip very sharp. Overall 17 3/4 inches. The elaborate sheath is in excellent shape with all stitching intact.
