The Clerical Collar has been a long standing symbol of the Clergy or priesthood. The collar was originally used as part of the "street clothing" that a Priest/Minister would wear when out in public.
Our Pontiff Collar is a Parson Brand reinforced interlined acetate
cleanable collar made by C.E. Buckley Inc. The company has gone out of
business and we bought there remaining stock.
The Pontiff is a full collar, with two button holes for Collar Studs and comes in 3 different widths:
Pontiff 2: Front - 1 1/8", Back - 1 1/8"
Pontiff 3: Front - 1 1/2", Back - 1 1/4"
Pontiff 4: Front - 1 7/8", Back - 1 1/2"
