Colt 1877 Thunderer, 41 cal. 4 1/2 " barrel. The grips are worn quite smooth, but no cracks or chips. This gun was seriously carried daily. The surface is generally smooth. .41 caliber long Colt, 6 shot double action Thunderer Model. Mechanically perfect. Bore is near excellent, appears much better than expected..

Markings are very clear. On the barrel marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A. " and "COLT D.A. 41"
The ejector button is missing. These are available from Dixie Gun Works. The action is mechanically perfect with possitive lock up.
