z Sold Skinning Knife By Goodell Company N.H.

Hunting was a requirement in the wide open places of a young America.  One of the tools used by the hunter was a Skinning knife.  These Knives would have a curve at the top of the blade to help with separating the hide from the meat in a more comfortable and efficient way.
This Goodell Skinning Knife is in good condition, blade has only a rust spot. The Goodell mark is visible on the blade and reads "Goodell Company Antrim N.H."  Handle is in good condition with minor warping and a small split at the end.
This would make a great addition to your display or collection.
