z-Sold New Unfired R&D Kenny Howell-made 1851 Navy Complete Conversion

Beautiful absolutely beautiful, This is a wonderful example of what Kenny Howell can do. A COLT 2nd GEN. 1851 Navy Revolver Converted to .38 special or if you prefer .38 Long Colt. It will chamber and fire either one. To make one of these for you Kenny normally gets $1250.00 made on Italian reproduction and you would have a long wait. In this case it was made on an original Colt 2nd gen. So all the markings are by Colt and are of coarse historically accurate.  Kenny has NOT marked this gun with his Mark (R&D Beloit Wi USA) under the barrel as he usually does. The 7 1/2 inch barrel, frame and cylinder are stamped with the serial number # 407. Below the serial number on the frame are the letters REL witch stand for Robert E. Lee. The barrel has been sleeve to accept a .357 bullet diameter. I would say without a doubt that the action is as positive, smooth and tight as any single action I have ever handled. The blue is deep and rich. The bone case colors are stunning. The ejector rod functions very smooth, and the barrel sports an adjustable for windage site. The chances of you finding one of these are incalculable, but here it is.  I have considered adding the value of the Colt 2n Gen. but I am not going to do that as the grips show some handling marks.
