z Sold East India Company 10 gauge "canoe" cut trade gun

A Brunswick 1837 pattern muzzle load percussion smooth bore trade rifle.  Shows a rampant lion on the lock plate with the 10 gauge heavy barrel cut to 16 1/2 inches. Fit with brass trigger guard and butt plate mounted on a walnut stock. The stock has been decorated with brass tacks. Overall length of 32 1/2 inch. The lock is in good working order and the stock has no cracks or breaks. Perfect for the Civil War or Buckskinner re-eactor and built to take hard use.
