z Sold Hat Vintage original Resistol western hat - with (real) character

Vintage hat 6 1/2 crown height with 4 inch kettle curl brim. Sold by the famous Resistol Company. In original as used condition, with the Resistol name and XXX Beaver stamped on the sweatband. The lining is missing, probably to allow air to pass through the 5 point star vents cut into the crown. The size is 7 1/8 or  7 1/4. It is made of  quality beaver fur a very durable hat. This hat is soft with a very flexible brim, but yet holds its shape well. The natural sweat stains and dirt glaze speak of the day to day use of a working hand . The hat is the most distinguishable piece of a cowboy attire. The star cut into the crown with the original horse hair hat band make this hat a special addition for any old west collector. This hat is ready to wear or cherish it as a valuable collectible of the Old West.
