An English double barrel water fowl gun that has been modified for guard duty on the American frontier. It
is a 10 GA. A made in Belgium copy of a J.P. Clabrough Bros. fowler of London, England. It was sold by Shapeigh Hardware Co. Of St Louis. It has been cut to 20" laminated Steel barrels with an
overall length of
36 inches. The gun has outside hammers with a side lever opener. With a touch of engraving on the locks, frame and trigger guard. The
wood has no major chips, heavy dents, or repairs and show very nice stripe grain. The butt-plate is smooth steel. This gun was made in the 1870's and has the typical blackpowder bore. Has a straight stock with brass a oval in it. The hardware co. initials on the lock plates. The barrels have a single bead sight and the rib is plain. Has 2 3/4 inch chambers with an
extractor. Mounted on a nice straight grain, multi-point checkered walnut forearm. Length of pull is 14 3/4 inches. It is mechanically perfect.

terrorizing effects that they could bring to bear. Also popular among
Marshals and Sheriffs for their mobility and lenient accuracy at close
