RJT#4981 -

Description

Antique marked "DEFENDER 89", .22 short rimfire caliber, 7 shot single action revolver, spur trigger, solid frame with 2 1/8" round barrel with unfluted cylinder, smooth bright nickel through out.
A neat revolver with no serial numbers. Action works correctly.  The bore shows strong bright rifling and would probably shoot just fine with CB caps or blanks. Tab on the frame push back to release the cylinder pin.  Grips are walnut with no chips or cracks.

This is the type of gun that a proper lady would carry in her muff to discourage mashers and muggers in the 1870s and 80s. If she was a not so proper lady it might serve to restrain a rowdy caller. Or would serve equally as well as a vest pocket gun for her fancy man.

This is an ANTIQUE and can be shipped directly to you.  Sold as an Antique ~ no guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage.  If any firearms are to be used for shooting purposes, a qualified gunsmith should inspect them first.
