z Sold Early vintage Staple and Plier pouch

RJT#-BL-5051 -

Description

This is a rare and unusual find. This pouch was laced to the rear jockey of your saddle. It was intended to carry a fencing tool and the pouch held many fence staples and a few horse shoe nails. Most working cowhands wanted little to do with these tools because riding fence was viewed with disdain, but still in all it was necessary work on the big ranches once they were fenced. This pouch is in very good condition and could still be used if the range manager singled you out for this distasteful chore.  It has had 12 brass spots added just for fun.  This outfit includes the fencing tool as well.
This collectable will not be seen in most western displays. We always answer questions and entertain offers.
