Description

Rare "H.H. HEISER" DOUBLE GUN HOLSTER RIG. These holsters  take 5 1/2" or 4 3/4" Colt S.A. Army Model perfectly. A unique addition suitable for the finest collection.

H. H. Heiser model #408 holsters on a double gun "Buscadaro" belt in excellent condition. It measures 44 inches from buckle to the center hole of the billet. There are 30 secure cartridge loops which are shown here with .44-40 cartridges and would just as likely accept .45 LC, .38-40, .44 Russian or .44 spec. No loose stitching, almost no ware, and no damage of any kind, just nice even rich patina.

The Hermann H. Heiser Co. made this beautiful Model #408 Double Loop Holster set from Premium Skirting Leather. These are gorgeous holsters that are properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. on an oval and bar maker's mark logo which would date these  holsters from 1910 through 1925. You will note they have no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, yet the straight cut pouch hold your guns securely. Having no safety strap gives it the feel and appearance of an early frontier holster. There are a couple of special features: The leg tie downs are sewn to the bottom of the skirt rather than attached with a punch hole, and the buckle is a garrison buckle which is not common for Heiser.  If you are fortunate to have a pair of Colt SAA 5 1/2" barreled Or Say a pair of S&W DA 6"Frontiers, vintage revolvers this is a must have outfit. A RIG LIKE THIS IS EVEN HARDER TO FIND THAN YOUR GUNS. The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear. My cartridges and guns are not included.
