Description

This is a old Mexican knife. The knife has a Mexican Eagle-shaped bull horn handle and a 8 1/2" blade and is 13 1/2" overall. All parts are tight and solid. There are no chips, cracks or moth chews on the horn handle. This is a primitive fighting knife that would give many century of service. Mexicans were notoriously deadly knife fighters. It is in good solid condition. This is a very well-made  Mexican knife dating to about 1870 or earlier. The sheath is just as interesting as the knife its self. Steel eyelets and primitive leather stamping all combine to make a uniquely interesting knife and sheath from common materials. It is the talent of the maker that makes it so appealing.
