Description

This Confederate officers belt rig and weapons are from the  historically valuable Texana and Civil War collection of U.S. Senator Ralph Yarborough's.  The leather goods are from England made for the Confederacy. The belt has some minor repair and the belt buckle is brass. The condition of the leather is as expected for Civil War leather. The pictures tell the story of their condition. The bowie knife is marked  "George Butler & Co. Trinity Works Sheffield" with the Butler "Key logo". The blade is 6 1/2 inches long and the knife is 10 3/4 inches overall. The blade shows signs of being sharpened and the stag scales and guard are tight and in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.  The pin fire LeFauncheux 6 shot, 12 millimeter (.47 cal.) revolver is mechanically perfect with a smooth gray finish no rust or pitting. The grips are very good plus with the lanyard ring missing. An opportunity to acquire a complete CONFEDERATE RIG LIKE THIS IS RARE.   We always answer questions and entertain offers.
