The 1873 Cattleman Black Powder model is produced with the same specifications as the popular cartridge FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER. In this case the cylinder is for black powder loading. It has the balance weight and feel of the cartridge models. The black powder model has a modified hammer to fire caps. It features a forged steel frame, and has the cartridge ejector rod assembly which is for cosmetic purposes only. Has a blued .44 caliber, 4 3/4" tapered round barrel. Blued steel blade front sight and rear sight is a notch in top of the frame, and chambered for .447 diameter round ball, with a 1 in 30" twist. Features a blued steel back-strap and trigger-guard. Manufactured by Uberti. This gun is new unfired. Since it is a black-powder cap and ball revolver it can be shipped directly to you. No FFL required.
