The "Deer Rifle". Few rifles can boast the combination of looks, hardworking performance, and reliability of the Model 94. For 125 years the ageless Winchester Model 94 has been a favorite of cowboys, hunters, and shooters. Through the years not much has changed from the original Model 94. The compact receiver keeps the weight centered between your hands. A noticeable lack of an external lever hinge below the receiver makes one-handed carrying convenient and easy. The action makes cycling a fresh round into the chamber smooth and effortless, an important feature for fast moving game like whitetail deer. But most important, the Model 94 is the gun that works, and has worked for over a century. The 94 is a compact, carbine-style rifle designed to be supremely fast and maneuverable, and deliver an enormous punch. The stock is of beautiful walnut. Metal finsh is blue, all completely factory original. Serial number 2169404, this carbine was manufactured in 1956. This gun is in fine as new, and is completely functional, safe, and effective tool. There are no dings or dents, and no toe chips on the butt plate. This specimen is very collectible and displayable, but is also ready to hunt! This rifle was built in the New Haven, Connecticut factory which is now closed. A legend. American made, and a time-tested design. No box or papers.
