Confederate, cowboy, line rider Tin Drum Canteen

A big 28" in circumference canteen very unique 1800s to 1890s era tin drum canteen as carried by long riders, miners, cowboys, line riders, soldiers, prospectors and stage coach drivers. All tin construction... two strap brackets intact... tin plug type spout.  These were hand made by talented tinsmiths, so each is somewhat unique. This canteen appears to be in fair condition. I offer this as a collectable there is a small separation in the bottom seam that could be repaired ( See Photo ), but it looks really good. (sold as is) Nice early piece appropriate to display with early western and mining relic collectibles. These were always a necessity.
