The perfect historically correct gourd canteen features genuine rawhide reinforcement. Includes a web carrying strap. Each gourd canteen water bottle is hand-made in the U.S.A. - supply is limited! The Canteen measures approximately 8” to 8 1/2” in diameter. and has a mouth piece spout for no dribble drinking. . These vessels are double-coated on the inside with paraffin wax. The outside of the canteen is cinched with a rawhide band.  A cork stopper is fit to the mouth of the canteen. The pictured canteen is representative of the one you will receive, no two will be alike.
