Description

Early Production Colt Model 1902 Military Semi-Automatic Pistol with original holster
Manufactured in 1904. Blade front and round-top notch sights, with the desirable "finger nail file" sharp checkering at the front of the slide, two-line, two-block address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the circled Rampant Colt and the caliber markings on the right. Fitted with a round hammer, royal blue slide catch, niter blue trigger, and checkered grips. The frame is configured with the military pattern extended grip frame, lanyard swivel, and Pat'd marked magazine (PAT'D SEPT. 9, 1884).
With mostly smooth grey patina with rare spots of the original high polish blue finish showing.  and light handling marks. The grips are fine with an obvious kill notch at the base of the left grip. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Mechanically fine.
The included holster a very rare Texas holster made by C. M.  Cain, Tyler, TX. It is a single loop holster with a sewn in toe plug. There is a few loose stitches at the top of the side seam and no other no damage to the holster. It was made for this 1902 Colt Auto and fits perfectly. The back of the holster is catalog marked (38 AUTO   6).
