Description

Hideout gun--.22 cal. Spur Trigger Revolver, pat. 1878 marked "Champion" On the barrel. Has 100% bright nickel finish with black rubber grips which have the American shield and George Washington image on them. This is a smooth bore and is mechanically perfect. This is the type of gun that great grandma would carry in her muff to discourage mashers and muggers in the 1880s. Or would serve equally as well as a vest pocket gun for a gent. The company that produced this gun was formed by Freeman W. Hood. Hood controlled the Norwich Arms CO. and the Norwich Lock Manufacturing Co.
