Antique SMITH & WESSON Number 1-1/2 2nd Issue, .32 Caliber REVOLVER, Nickel Plated, Spur Trigger
We present an antique Smith & Wesson Model Number 1-1/2 .32 Rimfire 2nd Issue Revolver, made circa 1868-1875 in Springfield, Massachusetts. It features a 98% ORIGINAL NICKEL FINISH. 2nd Issue guns were serial numbered consecutively after the 1st Issue, with numbers ranging from approximately 26,300 through 127,000. This one is serial number 86108. Mechanics are perfect: Cylinder lock up TIGHT, barrel tip up hinge has NO PLAY, The barrel latch clicks CLEAN, NO WOBBLE.
The overall condition is near fine. Original finish on the grips has 99% finish. ACTION PERFECT & TIGHT.
