Sambar Stag grips for 2nd, & 3rd Gen and U.S.Patent Firearms RJT#6458

These Sambar Stag Grips fit my 2nd & 3rd Gen. Colts and U.S. Patent Firearms Perfectly and also could be fit to a 1st Gen. Colt with a bit of shaping. I found these grips at a gun show years ago and I have had them on my 2nd gen. ever since.  Probably 20 years.  They are GENUINE SAMBAR STAG-HORN If you grew up watching Western movies and  TV then you saw stags stocks on the Colt Single Actions of Roy Rogers to Matt Dillon and of coarse "Wild Bill Elliot". This very durable material has become extremely difficult to find in recent years and at times non existent. These are the two piece style. The left grips shows some surface cracks, but I guarantee they are stable and will give good service. You won't find a stronger stock than stag-horn. These Grips are full cut to fill your hand. These grips are marked AJAX and a search of their website shows they no longer offer these great grips.
