They are made with Polyurethane and 20 to 60% Ivory or bone get the perfect finished color and look. We have these Grips made to sand down to assure a perfect fit. See the pictures, showing the reveres side of a 1st generation Colt grip frame. 2nd and 3rd Colt grip frames will need progressively less and less sanding.(These grips can fit the 1873 Colt, 1,2,& 3, the 1873 Cimarron, the 1873 Pietta and the 1873 Uberti. When any of these grips are installed as a ONE PIECE GRIP they will come with a spacer to be glued between the grip halves. When any of these grips are installed as a TWO PIECE GRIP they will require drilling a screw hole and installing Grips escutcheons and screw. to be ordered separately.
